With the Punches
Stop struggling to follow through and start making confident decisions that will stick.

Finish ambitious, inspiring projects while feeling confident and in control with a clear, simple, flexible quarterly plan.

Here's what workshop participants have been saying...

"I love how this turns the whole decision making process inside out, like working from the inside out rather than the other way around"

Jackie W.

"The best part for me has been the idea of starting with MY CAPACITY instead of the project itself; it’s going to help stop me from overloading my to-do list. Clarity!! Thank you!!"

Endrené S.
"Using capacity as my lens for planning has been a revelation for me! I tend to think mind is endless, but life happens and takes up most of my capacity."
Cheryl R.

"Eveniet quam natus et commodi minus consequuntur enim iure magnam nam fugit voluptas."

"So helpful!!! At the beginning I said to myself 'No way, this is too much learning other stuff, I don’t have time, I need to get on with what I should be doing.'

Like when I avoided creating Text Styles in InDesign and then the one time I did it and needed it and used it I said, “Ohhhhhhh, now I get it!”

Jeannie M.

"Absolutely loved the mix of big picture inspiration and ways to approach work & the meat of the decision process. Thank you!"

Jennifer P.
"I really appreciated that your planning and prioritization strategies work so well as a way to handle the more open-ended kinds of creative work.

I do not like being pinned to the mat which is how most business and project planning methodologies make you feel."
John L.

If you’ve tried to make major plans before but feel like you’ve fallen flat on your face...
Maybe it’s time to learn a little planning kung fu.
You put water in a cup, it becomes the cup.
You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow. Or it can crash.
Be water, my friend.

— Bruce Lee
BE WATER when you find out…

The one little word that’s the source of all your overload

The only legitimate measuring stick for what you should take on

How you can streamline your commitments (without second-guessing yourself)

What you can learn from a preschool teacher to get your giant projects done

How to stop getting taken by surprise when shit happens

Why massive goals might be exactly what's keeping you stuck...and what to do instead

How using “implementation intentions” can help you finish what seems impossible

The absolute simplest one-page plan that will get you to the finish line

So, what is a “Flexible Container”?

A Flexible Container is the kind of support system we need to actually do the amazing things we dream of, in the midst of a messy, challenging, very real adult life.

In other words, it’s an approach to planning that acknowledges and supports your real life, without lowering your creative ambitions.

Your planning needs to be a container, with edges, and structure, to help you keep going. But it also needs to be flexible, lightweight, agile and responsive. So when life starts…life-ing, you can tack and respond, and just keep on moving.

And that’s what we’ll build in this workshop.

What we’ll actually do

In this course, you'll build a plan for your next few months that can survive real life.

You start by clarifying where you’re trying to land this year, then translate that into milestones that you’ll tackle in the coming quarter.

From there, you’ll map possible projects to those milestones and pressure-test them against your real time, energy, and life constraints

You’ll make explicit decisions about what you’re going to do, and what is not happening this quarter.

Finally, you’ll lay out a lightweight execution arc: just enough structure to reduce friction without locking you into a plan that breaks the moment something changes.

You’ll leave with a clear, simple quarterly roadmap that you can trust, adjust, and keep using as reality unfolds.
